Herman Zhou is a serial entrepreneur and the creator behind two publicly listed companies. He is widely recognized as a pioneer of China’s ride-sharing industry and the founder of Yidao Yongche, one of the country’s first car-hailing platforms. After Yidao’s acquisition, Herman spent years investing in and mentoring startups in the mobile internet and technology sectors. He is deeply passionate about technology and AI, and is known for his patience, insight, and dedication to helping founders grow.
Kyle Qi is an AI Investor with experience investing in high-growth software and technology companies. Previously, he was an Private Equity Associate at Serent Capital and began his career at Boston Consulting Group, advising private equity and corporate clients on growth and diligence. He holds a B.A. in Economics with minors in Data Science and Education from the University of California, Berkeley.

Amy Jung is an investor with experience in emerging technology, healthcare, and early-stage venture capital. Before joining Llama Ventures, she worked at Redesign Health, driving innovation and portfolio growth across health and life sciences startups, and is an active member of All Raise and Global Women in VC. Amy holds a B.S. in Molecular Biology and an M.S. in Data Science and Machine Learning from the University of California, Berkeley.

Guanjia Zhu is an analyst focused on early-stage AI and software companies. His interests span emerging technology, financial markets, and experimenting with new AI tools. Prior to joining Llama Ventures, he gained experience through a consulting practicum with Oracle and a strategy consulting internship at Accenture.
